How pscuci Protects Its Players

Responsible gambling isn't a legal footnote at pscuci — it is built into the design of the Platform from day one. Here are the six core pillars of our approach.

Strict 21+ Age Verification

Every pscuci account undergoes mandatory age verification as part of the KYC process. No real-money play is permitted until the player's identity and minimum age of 21 has been confirmed. Underage accounts are suspended immediately upon discovery and all balances are forfeited.

Deposit Limits You Control

You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps on your account at any time through your Account Settings. Limits take effect immediately when lowered and are protected by a mandatory cooling-off period when raised — so impulsive decisions don't override your own considered limits.

Self-Exclusion & Cooling Off

Players who feel they need a break can request a temporary cooling-off period (24 hours to 6 weeks) or a full self-exclusion of up to 5 years directly from their account or by contacting support. Self-exclusion requests are enforced immediately and cannot be reversed during the active exclusion period.

Session Time Reminders

It is easy to lose track of time when playing live dealer games or following a live football match on pscuci's sports betting platform. Our session time reminder tool pops up at intervals you choose, displaying your current session duration and net wagering activity so you always have a clear picture.

Activity Monitoring

pscuci's responsible gambling team actively monitors gameplay patterns for behavioural indicators associated with problem gambling — including sudden increases in deposit frequency, loss-chasing behaviour, and extended uninterrupted play sessions. Where indicators are present, we may proactively reach out to affected players.

Reality Check & Loss Limits

In addition to deposit limits, players can set individual session loss limits — a cap on how much can be lost in a single session before gameplay is paused. Combined with reality check pop-ups, these tools help you make conscious, informed decisions rather than reactive ones in the heat of a session.

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

All of the following tools are available to every pscuci account holder at no cost. They are accessible directly from your Account Settings under the "Responsible Gambling" section. Requests for self-exclusion or limit changes that reduce your limits are processed instantly.

Deposit Limits

Set a cap on how much you can deposit per day, week, or month. Effective immediately when reduced. A 7-day cooling-off period applies before any increase takes effect, protecting you from impulsive limit increases during a losing streak.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount you are comfortable losing in any single session. When your session loss reaches the set threshold, gameplay is automatically paused. You decide the number — we enforce it without exception.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for individual gaming sessions. When the limit is reached, you will be prompted to take a break before resuming play. Available in increments from 30 minutes up to 8 hours per session.

Cooling-Off Periods

Take a short break from gambling without committing to a full self-exclusion. Cooling-off periods of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, or 6 weeks are available. Your account remains open but gameplay and deposits are suspended for the duration.

Self-Exclusion

Request a full self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or 5 years. Your account will be closed immediately, deposits blocked, and marketing communications suspended for the duration. Self-exclusions cannot be reversed during the active period. Contact [email protected] to initiate a self-exclusion request.

Setting Up Your Limits — Step by Step

Follow these steps to activate any responsible gambling tool on your pscuci account. The process takes under two minutes.

1
Log In to Your pscuci Account

Access your account from the pscuci homepage. Ensure you are on the correct domain — https://pscuci.cam. Never share your login credentials with anyone.

2
Navigate to Account Settings

Click on your account profile icon in the top-right corner of the Platform interface to open the Account Settings menu.

3
Select "Responsible Gambling"

Within Account Settings, locate the "Responsible Gambling" section. All available tools — deposit limits, session limits, loss limits, cooling-off, and self-exclusion — are listed here.

4
Choose Your Tool and Set Your Parameters

Select the tool you wish to activate, enter your preferred limit or duration, and confirm. Limits that reduce your current threshold take effect immediately. Limits that increase your threshold require a 7-day waiting period.

5
Confirm and Save

Review your selection and confirm. You will receive an email confirmation to your registered address. If you do not receive a confirmation within 10 minutes, contact [email protected] immediately.

Need Immediate Help? If you cannot access your account settings or need a self-exclusion applied urgently, contact the pscuci support team directly at [email protected]. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including Malaysian public holidays.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Gambling becomes a problem when it starts to negatively affect your finances, relationships, work, or mental health. The following are recognised warning signs. If several of these apply to you — or to someone you know — it is worth seeking support.

01
Chasing Losses

Depositing more money to try to win back what you have already lost, even when you cannot realistically afford to do so.

02
Gambling With Essential Funds

Using money set aside for rent, utilities, groceries, or other necessities to fund gambling activity.

03
Being Secretive About Gambling

Hiding your gambling activity from family members, friends, or your partner — including concealing the amounts wagered or lost.

04
Inability to Stop or Reduce

Having repeatedly tried and failed to cut down on gambling, or feeling a persistent urge to gamble even when you have decided not to.

05
Neglecting Responsibilities

Missing work, neglecting family obligations, or abandoning hobbies and social activities in favour of gambling.

06
Borrowing to Gamble

Taking out loans, borrowing money from family or friends, or using credit facilities to fund gambling activity.

07
Gambling as Emotional Escape

Turning to gambling as a way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, or other difficult emotions rather than as casual entertainment.

Quick Self-Check: How Is Your Gambling?

Answer these questions honestly. If you find yourself answering "yes" to several of them, we encourage you to use our self-exclusion tools or reach out to a professional support service.

Do you spend more money on gambling than you originally planned — on a regular basis?
Have you ever felt the need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to get the same level of excitement?
Have you lied to people close to you about how much time or money you spend gambling?
Have you tried to stop or reduce gambling, but found it difficult or impossible to do so?
Has gambling ever caused problems with your finances, job, relationships, or mental health?
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut back on gambling?
Have you ever returned to gambling after losing to try to "even it out"?
Have you ever gambled to escape from worries, or to improve a low or depressed mood?

If you answered yes to three or more of the above: This is a strong indicator that gambling may have moved beyond entertainment for you. Please consider activating a cooling-off period or self-exclusion via your pscuci account, and reach out to a professional support service. You are not alone, and help is available in Malaysia.

21
MINIMUM AGE
Strictly enforced. No exceptions.

Age Verification & Protecting Young People

The minimum age to register and play on pscuci is 21 years old. This is not simply a policy — it is a hard technical and procedural requirement. Age verification is conducted as part of the mandatory KYC process for all accounts, and no real-money deposits, withdrawals, or gameplay are permitted until verification is completed successfully.

pscuci employs the following measures specifically to prevent access by individuals under 21:

  • Date of birth is collected and checked at registration
  • Government-issued ID (MyKad, passport) verification is mandatory before any withdrawal
  • Real-time age check cross-referenced against KYC documentation
  • Accounts flagged during gameplay review are suspended pending verification
  • Any account confirmed as underage is permanently closed and all balances forfeited

If you believe a person under 21 is accessing pscuci — whether a child in your household or otherwise — please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and act promptly. If children have access to a device on which pscuci is used, we strongly recommend using your device's built-in parental control software to restrict access.

Tips for Healthy Gambling Habits

For the vast majority of players, gambling is a fun and manageable form of entertainment. These guidelines help keep it that way.

Good Habits to Maintain

  • Set a strict entertainment budget before each session and stick to it — treat losses as the cost of entertainment, not as money to be recovered.
  • Only deposit money you can genuinely afford to lose without it affecting your daily life, bills, or savings.
  • Use deposit and session limits in your pscuci account to enforce your budget automatically.
  • Take regular breaks during play sessions — step away from the Platform every 60 to 90 minutes.
  • Keep gambling as one of many leisure activities — maintain other hobbies, social activities, and interests.
  • Gamble when you are feeling calm and clear-headed, not when you are stressed, upset, or emotionally compromised.
  • Keep an honest record of wins and losses so you have an accurate picture of your actual gambling activity over time.
  • If you win a significant amount, consider withdrawing a portion rather than reinvesting all winnings immediately.

Habits to Avoid

  • Never gamble when you are under the influence of alcohol or other substances that impair judgement.
  • Do not use gambling as a way to cope with negative emotions, stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship problems.
  • Never chase losses — accept that a losing session is over and resist the urge to deposit more to recover what was lost.
  • Do not borrow money — from banks, friends, or family — to fund gambling activity.
  • Avoid playing for extended uninterrupted periods without breaks, particularly during late-night or early-morning hours.
  • Do not skip meals, sleep, or important responsibilities to continue a gambling session.
  • Avoid gambling as your primary source of entertainment or social interaction.
  • Do not dismiss concerns raised by family members or friends about your gambling behaviour — their perspective may be valuable even when it feels uncomfortable.
